Experience
His experience as assistant professor of trombone in the Centro de Estudios Jazzuv of the Universidad Veracruzana and in the University of New Mexico, makes Alejandro a very qualified and versatile teacher. His lessons are personalized according to the strengths, weaknesses, and artistic goals of the student.
Philosophy
Alejandro’s pedagogy seeks to cover equally the axiological, theoretical, and practical knowledge of the student. Some of the topics in his lessons include aural and rhythmic training, musical analysis, study of historical context and style, practice hacks, artistic development, among others.
Audition/Recital work-plan
We can design a personalized work plan in the preparation of an audition or recital with exclusive strategies that Alejandro has developed and compiled from great teachers such as Christopher Buckholz Rob Knopper, Richard White, Noa Kageyama, Joe Alessi, Erica Rios and John Stringer.
